The Apartment is on the first floor of a converted grade II listed house built in 1860 The apartment is completely private - however the secure courtyard ( safe for inquisitive pooches on holiday ) is shared with the downstairs apartment. There is a seating/ dining area in the courtyard perfect for enjoying the light Northumbrian evening skies It is in a fairly quiet street with free parking and houses of a similar age. A small cobbled lane to the side of the house will take you into the town centre within a couple of minutes of walking

Elaine’s place is exceptional value for the flat. Rarely have I stayed somewhere so clean and in perfect repair. The beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. There were lots of linens and towels for us. The kitchen was well appointed and everything was easy to find. There were lots of hooks for hanging clothes, jackets and bags.

What a wonderful stay we had at this beautiful apartment. Elaine communicated well, gave good and clear instructions on how to get the apartment and how to get in. The apartment was spotless, well set out and beautifully decorated. The apartment was just 5 minutes walk in to town. The town itself had everything you could ask for. Lots of places to eat and things to see. Would highly recommend staying at this beautiful apartment.
